Is it wrong that I enjoy the disappointment in their voices more than the victory itself?

It would have been funnier if, after hearing the announcers after saying "and the Cavaliers lose 104-103", you hear the sound of them taking off their headsets and putting them on the table and silence for the rest of the telecast.

Golden State is never going to lose a game again at this pace.

I usually don't care about the dunk contest at all (3 Point is usually much more compelling as a contest) but this one was fucking awesome! Gordon kinda got screwed on that last dunk, but I guess somebody had to lose.

LaVine & Gordon revived the Slam Dunk contest.
When Reggie Miller was saying that the three point shoot out should close All Star Saturday night, I definitely agreed. The slam dunk hadn't been relevant in years and didn't think anything could bring it back to its glory days. Plus, you had some of the best shooters year in and year out competing so it felt like a no brainer to consider putting it on last.
Until tonight.
I was trying really hard to not anoint this slam dunk finals as one of the best in not only recent memory but of all time because I didn't want to make such a statement based on emotion but once you watch it again gosh those guys put on a show. They topped each other. At one point, both guys where having to come up with dunks on the fly (which is freaking nuts) and they still kept going at it. It was awesome. It was fantastic. This is the definitive slam dunk final.
I also enjoyed the three point shootout aka Steph vs Klay 2: Electric Boogaloo. Devin Booker from the Suns is gonna be a great shooter, it's a shame he's on the Suns though. The skills completion was good too and I also LOL'd when KAT won.
Great All Star Saturday Night. Loved every minute of it (except for the musical act but whatevs).
Oh, and Draymond almost lost to Kevin Hart in a fake 3 point shootout...HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?!

Heat/Warriors is BANANAS! Steph Curry (aka Sub Zero) is playing on another planet right now.

That last shot! It's just not fair.

That last shot! It's just not fair. You literally cannot defend him. He'll either just make the shot or pass it to Klay who will make the shot. To think, in some sorta Earth 2 scenario Kevin Durant might be playing with them this time next year....

Observations in the 4th quarter of Thunder/Warriors
- While it's easy to fall into the mind frame of the Warriors being Curry/Thompson and everyone else is just there, you really have to see it in the sense that they play fantastic team basketball and while the talent is flashy and most people only talk about that, but they are a well-rounded team that has very little weaknesses because they all fit their roles perfectly.
- Okay, all that talk I said about the Warriors? Flip that when we talk about the Thunder. Durant & Westbrook are fantastic players, but you get the feeling that they go into "hero" mode when things start heading south and that's the thing I don't get? This isn't the same Thunder team that got trounced by the Heat in The Finals a couple of years ago or the team that had a hobbled Ibaka and no Westbrook when they lost in the WCF. They actually have a team that can carry their own weight but sometimes you see shots from Durant and Westbrook in crucial moments in the game that can swing the momentum to the other team and go "why did they do that?". There's no trust from both those guys in their other teammates and that is obviously not something you want going into the playoffs and thinking about the future with or maybe even without Kevin Durant.
