Hey guys, I know I don't post here that often and I'm pretty new, but I need some help.
I have 5 DVD-R's that I need to rip video footage from. Years ago I had copied them with a VHS to DVD ripper since the media came from a camcorder on old miniDV(?) tapes. Everything copied fine as you can physically see the data written on the disc. The issue I have is, for some reason, I never finalized the discs with the device I used to copy the media from VHS/miniDV to DVD-R (I think I didn't because the ripper broke).
Now I have these 5 unfinalized discs that I need the media from. I put them in my computer and it recognizes the disc but I can't get any further than that.
I searched Google and found some things but not the exact situation I'm in. I don't wanna start doing things in fear of corrupting the data on the discs.
Thanks.

Totally forgot about this thread.
Turns out we just needed to finalize the discs on the original device they were copied from. Luckily we still had it, and it took all but 10 minutes.
Thanks guys.
