The women's title match was okay, but it wasn't their best match together. I didn't know about Sasha getting taken out of a month's worth of shows so it seems like she may have failed wellness because what other reason would you remove someone for that exact amount of time? We'll see though. Also: 50/50 booking at it's finest right here. Injury angle + giving her some time off to finally go on her honeymoon, perhaps. Time off and WWE doesn't really mix but I get what you're saying and hope that is the case.

I don't understand the hate for Summerslam. Maybe my expectations are low at this point, but I enjoyed it. It certainly wasn't as bad as that trainwreck of a Wrestlemania.
I missed the opener. Women's match was fine. Did anyone seriously expect anything more from Miz and Apollo? Cena and AJ put on a MOTYC. Dean was extra manic tonight. Almost seemed like he was sabotaging the match to me. What had arguably the best build heading into Summerslam ended in a weird, sub-par match. Ziggler still looks like a geek now. Gotta heel turn. Finn and Seth was a lot of fun. The Universal Title looks like someone stole Nakamura's jacket and turned it into a belt. I was happy I didn't have to watch another Roman and Rusev match. Lesnar and Orton was fun for what it was. I think Orton got legit knocked out and that wasn't the planned finish. Overall, enjoyable. Weird, yes, but enjoyable.

Never really put my thoughts of shows on here but here goes.... I liked Summerlsam but not all of it, but Summerslam definitely was better than Mania. Cena/AJ was seriously a really good match, pretty much nothing to complain about which is why I still don't get why people hate Cena, he is a good wrestler who tries new stuff and puts on great match, wouldn't mind if I see these two face each other again great matches every time. Sasha/Charlotte was an okay match but I think they could have done better, don't know if Rev is correct about her or it is a failure of the wellness program but hope Rev is correct. Ziggler/Ambrose was good but it wasn't, it's better than what I expected as they had some good stuff but it was just not fun to watch, maybe they should've had Ziggler be heel. Brock/Lesnar was not too much of an Rko/suplex as excpected but the ending was something I don't think was scripted, but it might have been as Shane got F5'ed at the end. Seth/Balor was a good match too, the title looks awful but they put on some great work, happy Balor is champion but I feel there are other superstars who deserved it more. Don't really care about the rest and someone tell me if cesaro/sheamus is worth a watch.

I watched a shitload of wrestling yesterday, both Death before Dishonor and NXT Takeover Brooklyn 2, so by the time Summerslam came around I was burnt out. Summerslam starting at 12 am in the UK doesn't help me either, so I was tired as all hell. AJ Styles vs. John Cena was my favourite thing coming out of this, it had me on the edge of my seat. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor was great. Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar match is the same old Lesnar shit. It was fun the first time, but all he does is come out, suplex and fuck off. The one upside was that it was Randy Boreton and the ending was probably the only thing that brought life back into me. Everything in between I thought was lacklustre and listening to Jon Stewart gave me AIDs.
Also, nothing will be as bad as Mania.

Well, shit.
Maybe I'm just imagining it, or maybe it's just an unfortunate coincidence, but it seems like an unusually high number of Rollins' opponents wind up getting injured.

I'm starting to side with grumpy old man Bret in thinking Rollins is reckless in the ring. The evidence is kind of piling up.

That was Balor's fault not Seths lol. That's like saying it's AJ's fault if somebody tucks their chin on a styles clash and lands on their head. Can't blame Seth for the way Balor decided to lead that landing arm first into the barricade.

The buckle bomb is always taken with both arms holding the ropes after impact. Seth short changed him when he threw. Balor had his arms out ready to brace just like everyone who's ever taken the move. Seth messed it up.
