HRay, where does HRay come from?

Beej is my real life name. Actually, my name is Walter Samuel Smith III. My whole life I've been called BJ though, which was a nickname given to me by my mom, and stands for "Bubby Jr." Beej is how people shorten the two-syllable "BJ" into one syllable. The brackets around my name which I use occasionally is a nod to one of my favorite shows, Scrubs.

I used to do highlights in the name of "Onaruto15" ROFL. And I got my first strike and I had to create a new channel. Back then there was my friend who got me into editing his name was Jray so I decided to name my youtube channel hray, there it is nothing special.

Before The MV Zone was created; all of this was done on the ROH Editing boards. At that time, I was known as "Ryan Raze" (real name, no gimmick) was the tagline. At one point, we discussed a website for Homicide and I said he should get 187.com. Well, at the time, that website linked to an adult site; and Gabe banned me from the boards. As anyone from that era can recall, Gabe was ban happy. I quickly made, "RyanRaze"; but I think that got banned too. I then settled on "Ryan React" as I always enjoyed the word "react" and I was one to give my opinions (Plus, I had some notoriety on those boards as someone who would express valid, well thought out opinions. ie: "Hey Ryan, react to this"; thus "Ryan React" was born.

Once I started the .com; Ryan React stuck and it became my name.
