I'm in love with this site so far. From funny posts of the past, to motivational advice and insight from fellow editors, I've had fun seeing what I'll be getting into. While going through the "What're You Listening To" thread, I found some songs I'll want to try out in the future, including the one in this quickly made Space Monkey video. As soon as I heard of it, I thought of SM. Sad that he's not a bigger name on the indies. MorrisKombat did him a lot of justice with his biopic and "Intergalatic" music video, and I had fun putting my own twist on him with an upbeat and goofy song. I'd love some advice on this and how I could improve! I also thought it'd be cool to whip up something to show off what I can do.
(P.S. I'm aware of the pixelated quality on certain zoom in's, I'm currently going through and cleaning up my desktop of space, so I had to use a low quality video downloader for clips. I also use Sony Vegas, so I'm not sure how to properly render out a video without it losing quality.)

Dude! This was pretty awesome! Didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. Love that little 4 second intro where you spelled out your name to the beat of the song. That's really creative. There's also some really good syncing throughout the video. Although I get why you sped up a lot of the clips since it matched the fast pacing of the song, I feel like you kind of over did it at times. Also try to work on your voice overs a bit. For the Ethan voice over it would have been better if you let it run a second more and added a fade out at the end, since it sort of cut off abruptly. Overall I enjoyed this a lot! I felt like you showcased his athleticism and character very well!
Glad you're having a fun time here so far! Good luck at Notorious M.V.Z! I'm sure you'll be a great addition to the Gen Next division!

Really fun video, Space Monkey might one of favorite wrestlers to watch. One of the things that stand out that I really like is the very good use of zooms and rotations, I feel like it underused. I like way you placed the transitions in the Ethan Page promo. I also liked the ending with Space Monkey with the sunglasses looking. I think you could have maybe had the slow motion at the end few percent's faster, added a fade on the end of the Page promo. Overall a fun video.

For a second, once I saw the title of the song, that it was gonna be the classic version of it. Still, this was a very fun video with some cool use of zooms and transitions. Best of luck in the upcoming contest.
