Reed (HTW)Induction by beejReed is without a doubt one of the single most important figures in the lineage of The MV Zone. As an editor, he was and is the backbone of the MMV division, and an underrated wrestling editor. As an admin, he was one of the most committed and productive to ever take the heavy reins of running the day-to-day activities of The MV Zone. As a podcast host, he was the most engaging and interesting that we have ever had. As a person - well, as a person, Reed surpasses every other high standard that he displayed in our community. When I returned to MVZ in 2014, there was an element of culture shock. Things had changed so much, and there were only a few names I recognized. But this HTWv2 fella quickly proved to be a standout, and I noted his love of film in particular when he signed up for Project Cinema 5 - a video where numerous new editors signed up to participate, suggesting ridiculous film after ridiculous film. Reed was a breath of fresh air, not only with his subject choice, but also his proficiency in showcasing the film within the video. The truth is that I always looked for someone like Reed. HJASkater and ProFx Jr. seemed to fit the bill in the early days, but didn’t ultimately pan out. I wanted someone who loved the community the same way that I did, and was willing to make it a priority. I saw that in Reed, and was happy to have him take the lead in booking the site. Booking competitions, hosting podcasts with him, and chatting about our ideas and philosophies regarding the community were the most fun and fulfilling years I’ve ever had at The MV Zone. As an editor, Reed took what AD started with the MMV division and elevated its popularity with a string of videos that struck the hearts and minds of The MV Zone. A multiple time MVd’Or holder, and one of my fiercest rivals, Reed has sat atop of the division throughout his entire editing career. If he wasn’t already the champion, he was always a contender and a viable threat to any reign. Reed’s MMVs have become appointment viewing for many, as becomes the case for many MVZ legends. You can always count on Reed to deliver quality, and almost always find a way to break your heart. Reed has also been an outstanding ambassador for The MV Zone. A number of our best current editors came to the site through Reed. He also continues to mentor and assist others in any way he can. Still to this day, Reed is there to listen (and enable) any crazy idea I may have - and is usually down to participate. If I had to sum up Reed’s time at The MV Zone in one word, it would be selfless. Any number of adjectives would apply: excellent, creative, bold. Those would all be great choices, but selfless best encapsulates Reed. He put the site first. You who are reading this - he put you first. I can never adequately express my gratitude for the countless hours Reed has given to MVZ. Hopefully this long overdue Hall of Fame induction is in some way a small token of thanks for all that he has given this community. It is my utmost honor to induct my perpetual cohost, my fierce rival, my favorite booker, and most importantly, my friend into the 2020 class of The MV Zone Hall of Fame. Reed Benson, come take your rightful place among the best. Reed's Latest MMV

Reed thee Ambassador! Welcome to the Hall of Pain!
So well deserved and long overdue. You're still my favorite editor and you gots the best musical taste around. Can we make Reed's music hour on discord a weekly thing? You're also the best Zone V'er of all time. You and Beej made one hell of a booking tandem, "Beej & Reed" should be as synonymous as Penn & Teller and Barnum & Bailey. Happy to call you a friend! Congrats dude!

God dammit beej you would have me crying in the club if I wasn't properly social distancing. Man I really don't know what to say other than truly Thank You Beej so much for those amazing words and taking your time to write this, I truly can't tell you how much it all really means to me and I can't thank you enough for everything buddy. This site truly wouldn't be anything without you man.
This is definitely a surreal moment, I know this is a hobby on a forum but this place has been a second home to me for the past 6 years. A place I could go and talk to people with similar interests as me and has given me a platform to share my work and receive feedback on and get better. Even over this past year when ive taken a bit of a step away from editing, I always come back to this place. And to think im Hall of Fame worthy is still kinda crazy, shit it still blows my mind when someone says im there favorite editor. I was just making these videos to make myself cry, im glad i could help y'all shed some tears too. Seriously though guys, this truly means the world.
I really wanna take a second and thank a few people. I'll start by thanking HRay, yea you my guy. Love ya buddy, thanks for showing me the website, if it wasn't for you this wouldn't be a thing. Awesome Dude, man me and beej have talked about ya so much your sick of me talking about you. But I will say for you to start off as a Dream Opponent for me and then to become one of my biggest rivals, I gotta say I personally am proud of that, love ya bud. Rev, you been one of my favorite editors since I've joined the site. And quite honestly your videos alone deserve an thank you from me but like I said in the anniversary Zone V your feedback that you have given me throughout the years has always meant the world. I always have looked forward to receiving your feedback every competition, and I can't thank ya enough for all the kind words over the years and all you have done for this website. Sarcastic, man oh man, you are the nicest person on this site. Beej says im selfless but man, the effort you put into feedbacking matches alone shows how selfless and willing to help people you are. The only man I have tagged team with and honestly the only one I ever want too. Love ya buddy, thanks for joining the site when I asked ya to, the website and editing community is better as a whole with you in it. CheeZe and Paroxysm thank you both for doing such a awesome job running things since me and beej stepped down, seriously you guys took over like that and thanks to you guys and Rev of course we just had one of our best competitions ever in the 15th Year and that is something to be proud of boys so thank you so much.
And of course lastly one more time, Thank You Beej for everything. All the Zone Vs, Moo Vs, The Matches, Project Cinema, Thank You for everything man. Love ya bud, can't wait to beat ya at Vidmas one last time!
