CheeZeInduction by RevGood evening everybody. Hope everyone is enjoying the ceremony so far. Lots of great speeches and a lot of well-deserving inductions. Adding to this already prestigious class is quite possibly the nicest dude around. And it’s a travesty that he hasn’t been inducted into our Hall of Fame yet. It’s crazy, it’s nearly been a decade since this little kid first IM’ed on AIM (rip) and asked me for all kinds of editing tips. I saw potential and I took him in as a sort of understudy, not entirely because I want to take credit for his success later on when I gotta induct him into a Hall of Fame, but because I could tell this kid loved wrestling and wanted to express it through this beautiful art we call video editing. He was eager and listened to all my terrible editing advice, and somewhere down the line he realized I was giving him shit criticism, started doing his own thing and carved his own path. Fast forward to today and our next inductee has made quite the name for himself as a three-time MVZ World Champion and the current reigning and defending MVZ and A2E Tag Champion with Paroxysm. Beyond the forums, this guy has built himself a nice fanbase based off his work ethic and constant content release schedule. Seriously, this guy poops out a new video everyday. I suppose I’ll stop beating around the bush, the person I’m talking about is none other than our current head honcho and "the hardest working man in video editing today", CheeZe. When I say CheeZe is "the hardest working man in video editing today", I mean it. Its crazy how much content he pumps out, especially at the rate that he releases them. There have been countless times on Discord, and Paroxysm can attest to this, where we would be chatting and CheeZe would begin starting on a project right before I go to bed, and when I wake up eight hours later this dude would have the entire video ready when we’d wake up. It cracks me up how messed up his sleep schedule gets, but its also impressive how CheeZe seemingly doesn’t get burnt out. I’m pretty sure in 2020 alone, he’s released as much videos as I have in my entire video discography. And every time I talk to him, he's cutting footage for his project. I'm pretty sure he's cutting footage right now while I'm up here giving this induction. Just the type of dude CheeZe is. During the pre-15th Anniversary Show festivities, I made a thread covering CheeZe’s best work up to that time analyzing his editing prowess. But it was at the actual 15th Anniversary Show where CheeZe was at his absolute best. He was the MVZ Champ going into the event and personally challenged me, or in his respective words “wanted to put me over”. After a few failed World Title matches, I accepted the fact that being the champ wasn’t in my destiny and moved on but despite my protests, CheeZe insisted and I accepted. What proceeded after was what will forever be known as the Pandemic Summer, where we both lost our minds and agreed to a best of three match as well as Tag Title match (and lets not forget this fuckin dude cheated on me and filled in as a replacement for another match). Those six solo videos we dropped were some of best work we’ve ever released and our tag videos were extremely underrated. Naito vs Okada ruled, Tiger Mask II is one of my MV’s of the year, and Hikaru Shida was absolutely beautiful. Fuck Otis though, J-Roc and I will be forever be salty about that. Anywho, I bring this up because I’m thankful as hell CheeZe agreed to all four our those matches and delivered his absolute best against me, and in turn we got four MOTY candidates which is really my only motivation for competing these days. His outreach with others extends even further. Between Discord, Twitter, Youtube, and the forums, you’ll see how many people look up to him. CheeZe has risen as a leader in the video editing community, offering help where he can while also promoting this wacky hobby of ours we call wrestling. As I mentioned, CheeZe is the absolute nicest guy around, but he made me so proud a few months ago when he dropped the ban hammer on this one kid. His knowledge on Joshi is insane and constantly takes me to school on the topic, being a tremendous help on a few of my recent projects. Now I've fallen in and out of love with names like Reika Saiki, Mina Shirakawa, and Takako Inoue. I have to mention all the MEP’s CheeZe has put together and how successful each one has become. In particular, I look forward to his annual Best in Year MEPs because those always hit. Then there’s his Deadlock drops. If you didn’t know, CheeZe makes videos for Deadlock’s Twitter releases and the acclaim he gets for each video is just absurd and cool as hell. What I’m forever grateful for though is CheeZe sharing the clout and getting me a Deadlock gig, which has reignited my passion for MV-editing and just simply making it fun again. Not to mention all the bags we've secured since then. You the tribal chief dog, and you putting food on my kids' tables. So thank you. So with that, it is my absolute honor and privilege to induct to the MVZ Hall of Fame, Class of 2020 my former understudy, my friend, and the hardest working man in video editing today, CheeZe! Welcome home! Hikaru Shida: Actress to Pro Wrestler

What can I say about my friend Cheeze we've known each other over 8 years You could say it was Fate. We were thrown together by a group we had both happened to have joined to make a collab representing it, somehow during our planning wrestling came up and brought us together we've been friends ever since we have gone on to make many projects together prior to CP0 including our own amv mep group(rip). On hiatus at the time from MVZ he expanded his repertoire on his own, and we learned some things together before his hiatus came to an end, and he returned to MVZ new partner in tow and a more complete editor ready to take his place at the top. My dude is an editing machine cranking out gem after gem, and I'm glad to have been able to enjoy his ride to the championship struggles and victory cause win or lose one thing is certain his video is going to be a good time, even more so with topics such as Sami Zayn, Daniel Bryan, or more recently Asuka the more passionate he is about the subject the more glorious the video is going to be.
Making all these videos for MVZ or Deadlock somehow he still has the time to be one of the nicest editors around helping people even fighting the same thing 37 times on MHW when my connection drops what a saint, putting up with things that would have made me lose my shit he's shown himself to a patient, capable, and organized leader and given my lack of consistency in those areas I'm thankful for it covering my ass around here. I'm happy you brought me to MVZ with you our tag team run has been some of the most fun and memorable moments for me as an editor regardless of how you are known to people be it the "Sami Zayn" guy the "Daniel Bryan" guy or the "Asuka" guy maybe even the "Joshi" guy, I'm happy to call you friend and to be a part of inducting you into the MVZ hall of fame you deserve it congratulations my friend.

DAMN! ya'll trying hard to make me emotional smh. I've always had a deep attachment to the MVZone, something about this place when I first came in 9 years ago (holy shit!) just kept me all the way till now. The MVZone always seemed like a friendly environment (with exceptions of course), but even recently our small interaction in the Zone V thread just gave off a family vibe to me. I might be overthinking things, but I really love this place!
Rev has always been cool to me and I don't know how he dealt with 13 year old me back then, I was annoying as shit! He really does deserve all the praise. While I really did want Rev to win the World Title in our match and I jokingly said "im putting you over", I had no intention of backing down and making an average video. I gave it my all and lost to the way better man. I've had 3 matches (well technically 5) with Rev and lost every time, he is my kryptonite. Thank you for the beautiful write up, it seriously moved me.
Paroxysm has been my partner in crime forever now! I left for a few years away from wrestling editing cause I felt burnt out and through a YouTube PM find out Paroxysm (at the time MVPxNightmare) is a wrestling fan. So, after a few years of talking with him, I got him to try wrestling editing and he took to it so quickly and became one of the fastest improved editors I've ever seen. He's definitely my favorite editor going right now and my long time friend & brother.
beej & AD thank you both for the years of feedback and knowledge and most importantly being huge supporters of my stuff. Without beej believing in me I don't think I ever would've risen as an editor. I was always (and still am) super anxious about my stuff, but anytime beej would leave me positive feedback it'd make me want to continue. Even when I made three consecutive Sami Zayn video's he supported my stuff and I'll always be grateful. AD I know I've bothered at times for feedback via PM's, thank you for always taking the time to watch and feedback my stuff. I'm sad we'll never get a proper singles match, because the only time we've faced was that one match where it was MV vs MMV and it still leaves a sour taste in my mouth how that went down. Also, the Pentagon Jr thing was somehow a coincidence believe it or not. I guess it slipped my mind completely that you did that, because I had watched Lucha Underground a year later and thought the Pentagon thing would be fun to do, but honestly that could be me remembering wrong too.
Reed, sarcastic, storm, stylopz, headcheese thank you guys for always showing love to my stuff! I hope to make MVZone as great as a place it was for me, for everyone!

What here wasn't mentioned is that not only he makes fantastic music videos, he also makes exceptional and professional looking titantrons. Before joining here I was told so many times how amazing Cheeze was and how he was one of the best editors. I was a fan of his work but only when I started talking to him I noticed how much this man edits and it still blows my mind to this day how he doesn't get burnt out and manages to make every video different with some unique ideas. When I joined I really didn't expect him to pay attention to me at all but he went above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and I know everything I should about this forum, Cheeze is even always down to check out any preview I send him and always give me some nice tip or mostly reassurance that I mostly need lol. By far one of the nicest people I have came across in editing community or on the internet overall. I showed up only this year but I already know that you well deserved this and thank you for accepting to face me for my debut match, it's gonna be lovely to put you over. Also for the love of God fix that sleep schedule and get some rest!

Who else marked the fuck out when Kevin Owens picked up Cena for a Package Piledriver, and then laughed at those kids when Owens won the match? I know I did, haha.
Cheeze mentored me in 2012. So I was technically a Cheezestring before I was a Rev guy.
