TNN did the same thing with ECW back in 2000 when they brought in the WWF to replace them. A little different this time around. TNN was courting the much larger promotion, where as Destination America seems to be picking up ROH as the cheaper alternative.

Bryan Alvarez is talking about it now on Observer Live. DA wanted wrestling on the cheap, and ROH costs much less to produce than TNA. TNA wasn't bringing in sponsors. Apparently, this deal has been in the works for months. ROH will be the lead in for TNA until September when TNA is shown the door. The contract with ROH is for 26 weeks (basically the rest of the year). If everything goes well, there's an opportunity for ROH to run live events on DA. Also, Samoa Joe is most likely prohibited from appearing on the show since it's considered "national television." So much for Joe officially being Mr. Wednesday Night between NXT and ROH.

TNA has announced on Twitter that they have resigned Bram to a multi-year deal...for the fourth time this year.

Didn't they also announce new contracts for Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, even though those contracts were actually signed back in January?

Didn't they also announce new contracts for Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, even though those contracts were actually signed back in January? Indeed they did. According to Bryan Alvarez, Bob Ryder, one of the higer ups at TNA has been slinging insults at them on Twitter and immediately blocking them. Seems everyone in a position of power over there is in deep, severe denial...including Billy Corgan. I can't find the fourth, but it exists. Please take note of the dates of each tweet.

Are most of the people on their roster on bi-monthly (tri-monthly?) contracts then? That's the only explanation I can think of as to why they keep announcing these things.

I assume they're just making up news to announce in a desperate attempt to appear as if they're not about to go out of business. "New contracts, see! That means we actually have a future."

Those kids in TNA surely have a bright future ahead of them, you know, new contracts usually mean stability for the company. OQDnxOL

Any thoughts on TNA and GFW most likely joining forces? I've read a couple reports that the first GFW shows had very low attendance (300-500 tops), and well, we all know TNA needs help desperately. Think it could do something for either? My guess is NO. Discuss. EDIT: Related
