The Last Jedi
Beautiful. I vehemently disagree with some of the negative reaction fans are giving this film. It not only took the newer characters in different directions, but it also finds diverse ways for the original core Star Wars legends to grow and stretch in their arcs. I had theories about what was going to happen and what side of the line the heroes and villains would fall, and the movie made me flip flop on those speculations a number of times. Also, the final scene of the film is so beautiful I could cry.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi - So this is the second straight Star Wars movie where the evil oppressor threatening to snuff out the forces of good in the galaxy looks more like a cartoon than an actual person with physical presence. That's not a trend I'm loving. Good movie, though. Best looking Star Wars movie since Empire. I may not have liked Snoke, but I loved the look of his throne room.

Good Time: After remembering that this movie exsits after talking bout it on Zone V I finnaly watched it and my goodness what a freaking film! I loved it, so stylistic, I have never seen Robert Patterson act this good ever. Truly a unpredictable film, I had no idea where the story was going, and OMG THE SCORE IS FANTASTIC! Been on repeat all day after watching it last night. Highly recommend.

Brawl in Cell Block 99 - there’s a real grind house charm to this film, including some hilariously cheesy death scenes, but I loved it! Tugs at your heartstrings a bit more than you’d expect with this type of film, and it’s so odd seeing Vince Vaughn in such a serious role. This feels like a film that Quentin Tarantino is going to have at the top of his best of list, and honestly, it’s probably in my Top 10 as well.

Wind River - An excellent modern western. Tense and emotional, with uniformly great performances. I like this Jeremy Renner way better than action hero Jeremy Renner. Even though this is his first real directorial effort (I know he made some cheap horror film a few years back, but he's pretty much disowned that one) Taylor Sheridan has already established himself as a pretty singular voice in the American cinema. If you liked "Sicario" and/or "Hell or High Water" you'll definitely appreciate this one as well. It maybe doesn't have quite the same directorial assurance as those other two--Denis Villeneuve could've definitely milked some more suspense out of a couple of the set pieces, for example--but I think it's got more heart. Finally saw this and loved it.

A Ghost Story - What a fantastic film! A story told mostly through imagery and does it so damn well! Speaking of which the visuals were fantastic. Loved it, go check this out!

Call Me By Your Name Loved it! Been looking forward to seeing this for a while and it didn't disappoint! The casting was perfect for this film, everyone fit there roll so well. The Cinematography was beautiful. Also a very well directed film too, great stuff!
The Disaster Artist I thought it was good, but I felt like it could be so much more. James Franco is a great actor and if it wasn't for his acting this film would not have as good as it was. But I feel like if this was directed by someone a bit more talented on the directing side then the film would have alot better. Also was not really a big fan of the ending. Still I thought the film was good and had a good time watching it. Its worth watching alone for Francos performance.
Lady Bird This was great! The strongest element of the movie is the writing and the performances. One complaint I found about the film was that the cinematography and the directing and I don't know I thought they were both done very well. While there is one little cliche plot line that I didn't like, the rest was done very well that I overlooked it. I very much recommend it!
The Shape Of Water This was also really great! Loved the Cinematography, the creature effects were great and I was surprised it was mostly done in Camera! All the acting was great, while there are alot of silly and stupid things in the movie (I mean look at the Plot alone) the movie makes you feel and care for the characters. Also highly recommend!
The Killing Of A Sacred Deer This was incredibly disturbing, but I loved it! I really like the directors last film 'The Lobster' and I liked this one even more. Gave me alot of Stanley Kubrick vibes with the Camera work and the characters and how they speak in this almost dream like dialogue. Also the music and sound design was great! Probably will watch this again and will probably like it more on a second viewing. As much as I liked it, pretty hard to recommend to everybody. I would recommend checking out the directors previous film 'The Lobster' first as that's a great movie as well!

Now that's one you would really never forget. "Disturbing" isn't a strong enough word for it. Also, it's fucking brilliant!

Brawl in Cell Block 99 - I liked it mainly for it's weirdness. I think if it was only like 90 minutes long it could've been a modern cult classic. If Craig Zahler had studied the swift, brutal pacing of great tough guy filmmakers of the past like Don Siegel ("Riot in Cell Block 11") and John Carpenter ("Assault on Precinct 13") he really could have created something truly special. But it still has a certain oddball charm. Where else are you gonna see Vince Vaughn beat the shit out of a car with his bare fists like he's on the bonus stage in Street Fighter 2?

It’s as good as everyone said it was. Top 10 of the year for me.

The Post - Two thirds of it is an expertly crafted docu-thriller that's as good as anything Spielberg has directed in the past 20 years. The other third is an admirable but misplaced story of a woman taking control of her own life. Nothing wrong with that, it just gets in the way of the other stuff and kind of muddies the waters a bit. Still very worth seeing. And quite timely.

My theatre pulled it right when I got my MoviePass card. I'll probably pick it up on blu-ray when it releases. It looked good (and reviewed well so that's great).

Black Panther.
Really refreshing take on the tired Marvel origin story. Not in the upper echelon of the MCU, but definitely one level below. Very good.
